1. Booking Your Appointment
You can book your appointment online by visiting our website and choosing your preferred time. Alternatively, you can call us, and we will assist you with the booking process.
For appointments, you can choose between a Free 15-Minute Consultation, which is a brief chat to explain how the assessment works, or a Full ADHD Assessment, which is a detailed appointment to determine if your child has ADHD
2. Filling Out Forms
After booking your appointment, you will receive an email with links to complete important demographic questionnaires.
Additional forms will also need to be filled out. These include forms for parents and children, which help us understand your child’s behaviour and needs, as well as forms for schools, which provide input about your child’s behaviour in the classroom.
For school or educator forms, individuals who know your child well, such as teachers or special education needs coordinators (SENCOs), should complete them. If your child is not in school, these forms can be completed by private tutors, therapists, childcare providers, coaches, group leaders, occupational or speechlanguage therapists, behavioural specialists, or caseworkers. If none of these options apply, you can opt for our Online ADHD Extra Assessment
Parent forms should be completed by parents, legal guardians, or other close family members who know your child well.
If your child is eight years old or older, they may also be asked to complete corner forms. These forms provide insight into their own experiences and feelings about their behaviour.
3. Scheduling Your ADHD Assessment
Once we have received your completed forms, you will be sent a link to schedule your full ADHD assessment. Our Customer Service team may also call to check in and ensure everything is proceeding smoothly.
4. What Happens During the ADHD Assessment?
During the assessment, you, along with a parent or guardian, will meet with one of our specialists. The session will include a discussion about your child’s behaviour, challenges, and experiences. The specialist will also conduct tests and ask questions to help determine whether ADHD is a possibility.
5. Getting Your Results
After the assessment, it will take four weeks to complete the report.
During this time, our team will carefully review all findings to ensure accuracy. Once finalized, the detailed report will be sent to you, outlining the results and suggested next steps.
6. What Happens Next?
After receiving your results, we will work with you to determine the best course of action. This may include discussing the results in more detail and providing guidance on accessing further support or resources tailored to your child’s needs
